Join us for the Australian Eating Disorders Research and Translation Centre's annual Think Tank and be inspired by cutting edge science, challenge conventional thinking and learn novel methodologies in the field of eating disorders.

Hear about the body and brain connection from our International Keynote speaker Prof Nadia Micali, and the role of the microbiome in mental disorders (including a breakthrough discovery) from our Australian Keynote Prof Damian Keating, as well as the epigenetics of eating disorders from Prof Sarah Cohen-Woods and translation into policy with Prof Kirsty Jones. Learn in our interactive sessions the practicalities of co-production in research & translation and new practices to ensure your research is checked for cultural sensitivity and opportunities to close the gap. Other speakers will present new work and scientific approaches including personalised measurement based treatment, novel clinical trial designs, an GLP1 primer, connection-based therapy, narrative methodologies and the impact of hormones in mental illness and its treatment.
